Ambassador Obsitnik: Visa Waiver Program for Slovakia Will Confirm Our Partnership

Ambassador Vincent Obsitnik has authored an op-ed published in Slovak economic daily newspaper, Hospodarske Noviny, on October 14, stating that we are getting closer to Slovakia's entry into the Visa Waiver Program. He congratulated Slovakia's government officials on the work they have done to get ready for entry into the Visa Waiver Program. He explained that to travel on the Visa Waiver Program, Slovaks will need a biometric passport and electronic travel authorization (ESTA), a simple, no-fee Internet-based application that replaces the U.S. immigration form.
