Ambassador Vincent Obsitnik Arrives in Slovakia

Ambassador Vincent Obsitnik and his wife, Annemarie, crossed into Slovakia at the Kittsee-Jarovce border on December 6, 2007. In a brief statement in Slovak at the border, Ambassador Obsitnik, who was nominated by President Bush and confirmed by the Senate on October 26th, said that he looks forward to representing the United States in Slovakia and will work to strengthen and deepen the excellent relations between the United States and the Slovak Republic.
