Ambassador Visits South-Central Slovakia

Ambassador Sedgwick in Rimavská Sobota.

Ambassador Sedgwick visited Sliač Air Base on February 6, where he discussed Slovakia’s contributions to NATO and continued Slovak-U.S. military cooperation, and even tested his piloting skills in a MiG-29 simulator. The Ambassador also visited the towns of Lučenec and Rimavská Sobota, February 6-7, and discussed a range of economic, social and political issues with the mayors of both towns, community volunteers assisting disadvantaged children, students, and cultural figures.
