An Evening of Provocative New Music Featured Premier Performance for Guests at Ambassador Vallee’s Residence

American musician, Ann LaBerge, visited Slovakia to participate in the Evening of New Music Festival. Ms. LaBerge graciously performed for an enthusiastic audience of 60 at a reception Ambassador Rodolphe M. Vallee hosted in her honor. The recital showcased works by Slovak composer Daniel Matej and a premier of her own composition. Ms. LaBerge’s performance of “New Music” sparked enthusiastic conversations among the guests, who were eager to discuss technique and explore the possibilities of composing and playing this genre of music.
