Dave Holland Jazz Quintet Performs for First Time at Bratislava Concert

World jazz great, extraordinary composer, innovator, skilled performer and educator -- Dave Holland with his four band members Robin Eubanks (trombone), Chris Potter (saxophone), Steve Nelson (vibraphone) and Nate Smith (percussions) will perform a jazz concert in the Bratislava House of Culture (PKO) on November 4 at 7:00 pm. The concert is sponsored in part by the Embassy, in support of American performing arts in Slovakia. Dave Holland is a British-born musician, a significant representative of avant-garde jazz, who holds three Grammy Awards and other awards for his virtuosity. The audience for jazz in Slovakia is very appreciative of both international and domestic musicians, performing in a variety of styles.
