Embassy Hosts “After the Pennsylvania Primary” Roundtable Discussion
![]() |
Forty young political leaders, reporters and students gathered together on the evening of April 29 to participate in an Embassy-organized roundtable exploring the 2008 presidential election. Besides focusing on the race for the White House, the recently held Pennsylvania Primary was examined at length. The panel of experts gathered by the Embassy brought to the audience a wide spectrum of knowledge and insight. An expert from the International Republican Institute spoke about the larger implications of the Pennsylvania Primary, an analyst from the Slovak NGO M.E.S.A.10 discussed highlights of the 2008 presidential elections, a visiting Fulbright professor of political science gave those in attendance an exciting look at what may come next in the Democratic Primary and the general election. The Embassy will hold a series of discussions between now and the elections in November.
