Higher Education Initiative

In September 2006 Ambassador Rodolphe Vallee announced the U.S. Embassy's Higher Education Initiative. It includes encouraging greater cooperation between American and Slovak universities in the areas of joint research and joint study programs of all kinds. The initiative is an effort to build new and expanded partnerships between the private sector and Slovak higher education institutions in which any university or post-secondary school can participate. The U.S. Government will contribute institution management training, expert exchange visits between Slovakia and the United States and informational materials on this topic.
