"Her Vision": Women's art exhibited in Embassy premises

Works of art and photographs by Slovak and American women artists, exhibited in the work spaces of the Embassy, were shown by Ambassador Rodolphe Vallee November 14 to about 40 invited guests. The American Embassy Art Space is, in the words of Ambassador Vallee, "our gift to the cultural life of Hviezdoslavovo namestie and of Slovakia." The inaugural exhibit, "Her Vision," celebrates the multiple perspectives of seven women – the color, the spectrum of emotions and sudden insights of daily life. The public will be able to view the exhibit starting the week of December 4 by e-mailing the Embassy at arc@usembassy.sk
