U.S. Marines Play Santa Claus at Orphanage in Komarno

On Thursday December 21, members of the United States Marine Security Guard Detachment at the U.S. Embassy in Bratislava went to a toy store in Bratislava and bought over $1,000 worth of toys. Friday, the next day, they drove a van loaded with the new toys to the orphanage in Komarno. Once they arrived, they visited with the children and distributed the toys. This annual visit brought a smile to the children’s faces and demonstrated to everyone the joyousness of the holiday season.
