Hours, Location and Contact Information 

The Visa Unit of the U.S. Embassy in Bratislava provides nonimmigrant visas services to persons who are physically present in Slovakia.  Please note that U.S. immigrant visa services for residents of Slovakia are provided by the U.S. Embassy in Prague.

Visa Application Hours:
By appointment only.

Public Inquiries:
The best way to contact the Visa Unit is by email at consulbratislava@state.gov .  Every effort is made to reply to all emails within two business days.

Telephone inquiries:
14:00 to 16:00 Tuesdays and Thursdays, except for official Slovak and American holidays.   Please note that telephone inquiries will not be answered outside of these hours, as Visa Unit personnel will be engaged in conducting scheduled visa interviews.

The Consulate is located at Hviezdoslavovo namestie #4, Bratislava, Slovakia.  It is adjacent to the main U.S. Embassy building, between the Czech Embassy and the Hotel Carlton.  (See map/mapa)
