U.S. Passports

NEW: Increases to U.S. Passport Fees and New Parental Signature Requirements for U.S. Minors

Applications for U.S. passports are accepted during regular ACS hours.  Once an application is approved, it is transmitted to one of the regional Passport Agencies in the United States, where the passport is printed and couriered to the Embassy for transmission to the applicant.  The average processing time for a regular U.S. passport is five to seven business days.
