Trafficking in Persons Report Available on Web Site

The U.S. State Department's 2005 Trafficking in Persons (TIP) Report is available on the U.S. Embassy web site, http://slovakia.usembassy.gov/reports.html.

The U.S. Congress, in the 2000 Trafficking Victims Protection Act, requires the Secretary of State to submit this report by June of each year. The goal of the report is to stimulate action and create partnerships around the world in the fight against modern-day slavery.
