Examples of genuine emergencies include, but are not limited to: robbery, death, serious injury, health crisis, destitution, or arrest of an American Citizen in Slovakia.

Normal business hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM except U.S. and Slovak official holidays. Routine consular services (non-emergency passport, notarial, passport pages, etc.) are provided to the general public by appointment.
