U.S. Air Force Band Celebrates July Fourth with Concert in Bratislava

U.S. Air Force Band Touch 'n Go, the popular music ensemble of the United States Air Forces in Europe Band performed for hundreds of Bratislava residents and visitors on July 4th on Hviezdoslavovo Namestie. Their play list included the best of rock, country, pop, and R & B covering the complete spectrum of American popular music. Formed in 1976, Touch 'n Go has thrilled millions, performing throughout Europe. The band came to Bratislava to play for the U.S. Embassy’s official Independence Day reception on July 3, but had asked for the opportunity to perform another concert for the public. This willingness to stay on in Slovakia plus the cooperation of the City of Bratislava allowed them to showcase their American music in celebration of the Fourth of July in the center of Bratislava.
