Washington Welcomes New Slovak Ambassador

Peter Kmec, the new Ambassador of the Slovak Republic to the United States, officially presented his credentials to President Barack Obama in a ceremony at the White House September 19. In addition to maintaining the high level of bilateral relations, Ambassador Kmec also pledged to continue sharing Slovakia’s experiences in transitioning into a democracy with other countries.
